As part of academic cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise, Professor Dr. Laith Majid Hussein, Director of the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad, and Mr. Fares Issa Fares, Director of Administration, visited the Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Postgraduate Studies on Thursday, 13 November 2025. They were received by Professor Dr. Kareem Hassan Alwan, the Dean of the Center. During the visit, the academic delegation reviewed the Center’s activities, research programs, and scientific projects. They also discussed ways for joint cooperation in the fields of heritage urban planning and sustainable development, in a manner that contributes to supporting the academic process and advancing scientific research. The visit also included extending an invitation to participate in our upcoming Seventh International Scientific Conference, “The History of Science among the Arabs,” which will be organized by our Center on 2–3 December 2025,in affirming of the importance of strengthening communication among scientific centers and enhancing academic collaboration.
